5 PRACTICAL WAYS YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM THE LOCK DOWN

There is no doubt whatsoever that the current Convid pandemic has had a huge impact on many homes around the world.

Life does not seem to be the same anymore and this NEW CHANGE has influenced people in different ways.

Statistics show that there is a profound level of tension in many homes and as each month unfolds, the fear of the unknown has haunted many LIVES  with uncertainty, fear and sometimes boredom.

However, with every situation we embrace in Life, there is not only a silver lining that adds new energy to our journey, but sometimes we need to think deeply to realise that things are not always BAD as they seem after all.

Below I have listed 5 Practical Ways you can benefit from the Lock down, these practical ways are not only things I have put into practice , but I am hoping that they can be of benefit to you , your loved ones and family .

HAPPY READING

  1.  A GOOD TIME TO SAVE AND MAXIMISE YOUR INCOME

This is probably one of the best periods in our Journey that we can make improvements not just on our savings but also maximising our income. (No matter how little we earn)

With restrictions on travel, places to go for leisure, Nightlife and many hospitality outlets, have you asked yourself, what are you doing with that extra money you would normally spend on, if there was no lockdown?

Saving is not just about putting money aside for a rainy day, its also about cutting our coat according to our cloth and making the most of what we earn.

Despite the fact that today, we live in a world that is deeply influenced by a “buying culture”, its perhaps a perfect time to take advantage of the restrictions and save money aside.

In the process, it is always important to focus on WHAT WE REALLY NEED as OPPOSED TO WHAT WE WANT.

In addition, we now live in a world that the future is becoming more uncertain, – MORE REASON TO MAXIMISE OUR INCOME AND SAVE MORE

2  A TIME FOR REFLECTION AND DECISION MAKING

These days when I speak to most of my friends, I am quite energized when I listen to their stories and they tell me of how they have benefitted from the CONVID LOCKDOWN PERIOD.

Most of the time, they emphasize on reflection and how the lockdown period has helped them to think very deep about their life and all the things they have always wanted to do.   Many of them have made lifetime decisions in terms of career paths, relationships, future aspirations, new hobbies.

The truth is that reflection brings out different reactions and decisions from person to person. This could be you and this is something you could take advantage of as a blessing in disguise.

Have you been doing lots of reflecting during this lock down period?

What positive impact has it had on you?

Have you made any life changing decisions?

3. THERE ARE LOTS OF FREE FUNDED COURSES AT THE MOMENT-, WHY DON’T YOU TAKE ONE?

Did you know that there are loads of free funded courses on the Internet at the moment?

Perhaps this is the time not only to get some more qualifications and online training, but to learn new skills, hobbies and interests.

You only live once and there is nothing as refreshing as making the most of each day and making the best of your journey

What are you waiting for?

4 EXERCISE YOUR BODY AND EXERCISE YOUR MIND

Although many gyms and exercise outlets are temporarily closed at the moment, it makes good sense to exercise your body and your mind in a way that works for you and to develop a

routine in the process until it becomes second nature.   This could be through walking, brisk walking, cycling, jogging or even doing work outs in the comfort of your home with an online virtual Instructor . Its truly a case of using your imagination and deciding on something that suits your lifestyle.

As we all know, the process of exercising our body and our mind makes us more productive, alive and energised.

5. DEVELOP A DAILY ROUTINE AND WRITE DOWN THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO DO

Its always important to develop a daily routine and write down the things we need to do on a daily basis.

This helps to give us more sense of purpose and clarity. It keeps us on track on our daily targets. It also makes us to become more fulfilled as human beings and less bored.

Time is your best friend so make the most of it.
